Mocha, features our very own Hope Project Peaberry roasted and delivered by hand to the Bristol Beer Factory by our very lucky Head Roaster David who several hours later had himself an early night!
Following the unprecedented success of the 12 Stouts of Christmas last year the team at Bristol Beer Factory decided to set the wheels in motion to make the whole project bigger & better than last year.
A number of favourites have been kept whilst a number of alternative variations & completely new flavours have been created. Head Brewer Chris Kay commented ‘This years 12 Stouts are a considerable improvement on last years – we learnt a great deal last year & we have been able to put all of those learnings into practice. We now have a fantastic range of very robust, beautifully crafted bottle conditioned Stouts.’
On December 1st the BBF team will be celebrating the launch day of the 12 stouts with an Open Day (11.00 to 18.00) at the brewery, with beers to sample, brewery tours and goodies to buy for Christmas. The cases of 12 Stouts will be available to pick up, for those who have ordered them or to buy if you haven’t. The Open day is free entry and a great opportunity to meet the team & enjoy some of the BBF’s products whilst also picking up some Christmas presents for those beer lovers that you know.
We look forward to opening a few bottles during December and hope to see you at their launch..
In the Glass: It has notes of bitter/sweet dark chocolate and a cherry fruitness.
