On Friday 16th October the brand spanking new edition of the South West Coffee Guide was launched and Extract Coffee were more than happy to once again allow the roastery floor to be taken over for the launch party.
A dizzying cacophony of food, beer, good music, a latte art competition and a whole lot of coffee related fun were combined for a high spirited celebration of the second edition of the guide.
As the speciality coffee industry grows in the South West, with more and more fantastic coffee shops popping up and an increasing amount of roasters establishing themselves, the South west Coffee Guide’s presence has become ever more important.
The Guide itself has been beautifully put together with some inspiring forewords from collaborators and sponsors and a host of glorious images accompanied by insightful write ups of some of the finest places to find great coffee in the South West.
The launch night was a great opportunity for coffee lovers, roasters, baristas, green been buyers and just general coffee enthusiasts to get together and celebrate the wonderfully diverse coffee community that has been created across the region.
A huge thank you to all of the sponsors for helping to throw a really tremendous bash and to everyone who came down to celebrate the launch, and a big well done to our very own Sam Dunford for coming out on top in the latte art smash down!
