Barista Skills is a course for people focussing on the key skills required to further a career in the industry. As these modules progress, participants can expect to gain a deeper understanding of the coffee itself and build upon practical skills for milk technique and latte art, not to mention health and safety, customer service and basic business.
This two-day intermediate course is suitable for those who have experience working as baristas. Participants can expect to gain a deeper understanding of coffee itself and builds upon the practical skills covered at the Foundation level.
Written and practical tests: 70% pass mark required.
Successfully completing this course is worth 10 points towards your SCA Coffee Diploma.
