Are you Extract Coffee Roaster’s new South West Regional barista trainer?
Extract Coffee Roasters, recently awarded Best Speciality Roaster in the UK Coffee Awards, is looking for a Regional barista trainer to join our team in Bristol and the South West.
ABOUT THE REGIONAL BARISTA TRAINER ROLE
If successful, you’ll be responsible for delivering barista training to Extract Coffee Roasters’s customers, teaching baristas from Bristol and the South West’s top independent cafes, restaurants and hotels. These sessions could be at a customer site, or at the Extract Coffee roastery in Bristol.
Hospitality and service is at the heart of all we do so you should be passionate about developing great relationships with our customers and providing an incredible Extract Coffee Roasters learning experience.
When you’re not running individual training sessions, you’ll be working closely with customers to improve coffee standards and encourage a culture of coffee excellence within their businesses and reporting on training outcomes to support a barista’s personal development and progress.
Day to day tasks will include managing the training, support and events calendar for Extract Bristol, managing Extract Bristol’s training & education space and the daily/weekly upkeep of our equipment and facilities.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A BARISTA TRAINER
The perfect candidate will be an experienced barista trainer with several years of experience in coffee. Perhaps you’re already working as a coffee trainer, or in a coffee role where training is one of your key responsibilities. SCA qualifications would be an advantage but are not necessary for candidates with proven skills and experience.
This role will involve travel around Bristol and to customers based across the South West of England so a full UK driving license is required.
