Join us on Saturday 22 June

We've teamed up with Yoga Brunch Club and are opening up the roastery doors to bring you an amazing morning of coffee and yoga here as part of Bristol Food Connections.

Arrive at the roastery and take your place on one of the beautiful Willow Yoga Mats. Enjoy an hour of yoga with instructor and Yoga Brunch Club Founder, Clem Balfour. Then sit down to a delicious breakfast provided by Californian-inspired café Bakers & Co and enjoy some perfectly crafted speciality coffee, made by Extract baristas.

Imagine this...

Step into the roastery. An industrial building with high ceilings and echoing floors. The biscuity, nutty smell of roasted coffee from the previous days roasting still faintly hangs in the air. The machines are off and the roastery, usually humming with the whirring of roasters, the grinding of coffee, is silent and still.

You walk over to the yoga space where an uplifting collection of colourful and beautifully patterned yoga mats, invites you to take your place. As you sit down on the mat you feel the softness of this sustainably sourced, luxe material. You notice the beauty of the vintage roasters, restored by hand; hessian sacks of coffee stacked up on shelves.

Your teacher welcomes you to practice. Together, you enjoy an hour of yoga in these unique surroundings. As your practice ends, breakfast is served. Artisan sourdough bread, toasted and enjoyed with jam. Sweet and crunchy, homemade granola with yoghurt.

And then, your coffee arrives. Silky flat whites, beautifully presented; bright and fruity filter brews which sparkle on your palate. Every part of your morning, prepared with care.

This is coffee yoga.
