Extract Loves The Barista League UK
We were delighted to host the UK stage of the global competition, The Barista League, at our Bristol Roastery in St Werburghs on 9th September 2023.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended. We had a great time celebrating coffee with you.
Also, a massive shout out to Extract Coffee Roasters' very own Barista League team, Josh and Kevin, who won the competition on the night! What a result, you guys totally smashed it.
The Barista League has already left its mark in several cities worldwide, including Oslo, Bogota, Mexico City, and most recently Los Angeles. Now, the buzz continues following the Barista League UK even in Bristol.

The fun doesn’t stop there. The Barista League is perfectly timed to coincide with the Bristol Coffee Festival at Bristol Beacon. This double dose of coffee promises to create an experience like no other.
Extract Coffee Roasters is going all out to ensure that, as The Barista League becomes the official after-party of the festival, making it a coffee extravaganza.
The event itself will showcase 12 teams competing in three rounds of exhilarating challenges designed to spotlight their exceptional barista skills, testing everything from their latte art, cocktail mixing and sensory skills.
But that’s not all.
"We have an amazing lineup of partners joining us for the event," added Duncan.
"Attendees can expect phenomenal burgers from Danny’s Burgers, delicious cocktails from Beyond The Bean, Oatly and Toddy, some of Bristol’s best beer from Wiper & True as well as much more”.
