Bermondsey Street Brews
Just a stone’s throw from London Bridge station lies the lively Bermondsey Street, a neighbourhood bursting with character. Think laid-back cafes, cosy pubs, award-winning restaurants, and more. This charming hidden gem is fast becoming a favourite destination for both locals and food lovers alike. We’re buzzing that so many of these local legends are now serving Extract, right in the heart of London. So come take a stroll down Bermondsey Street with us...
CHAPTER 72
Coffee shop by day, cocktail bar by night - we’ve been proud to partner with Chapter 72 since they opened in 2017. Run by owners Rod and Ellie, this rustic-chic cafe and bar serves up Original as their house coffee, making the perfect brew alongside a range of delicious cocktails. Stop by for a morning pick-me-up or come back later to toast the evening.
LOLO BY JOSÉ PIZARRO
The newest (and third!) establishment from José Pizarro on the street. With its warm and inviting atmosphere, you can dine all day during the weekend or from lunch during the week. Serving our Rocket espresso, Lolo is a vibrant and contemporary restaurant that offers a culinary experience that blends modern Mediterranean cuisine with a playful twist on classic dishes.
*From now until September: Pop to Lolo’s for a morning coffee giveaway on the last Friday of the month, and get an espresso martini or coffee on the house when you book a table here (don’t forget to include “extractcoffee” tag in the dietary requirements).
JOSÉ TAPAS BAR
Since opening in 2011, José Tapas Bar has built a following as London’s go-to spot for authentic Spanish tapas, and earning a Bib-Gourmand from the Michelin Guide along the way. Inspired by the bustling bars of Barcelona’s La Boquería market and the traditional taverns of Andalucía, José serves up a daily changing menu (keep your eyes peeled on the blackboards!) - all paired with over 50 Spanish wines and sherries by the glass, plus our Rocket espresso in their hopper. Not to mention, they’re dog-friendly too!
MOROCCO BOUND
Tucked away on Morocco Street, Morocco Bound is part bookshop, part café, and part creative hangout. By day, it’s a book café and co-working hub (serving our Original espresso), and by night it transforms into a bar and events space, bringing together the local community. Fun fact: the name gives a nod to the area’s history - once home to tanneries and printers, where the finest Moroccan leather was used to bind books.
FEL FEL
Brought to you by the owners behind Chapter 72, Fel Fel is a cosy spot where speciality coffee meets Turkish cuisine. From falafel wraps to their well-known tuna melts, and other tasty options alongside our Original espresso, it’s the perfect place to grab a bite, a brew or gather for a friendly chat.
PIZARRO
Just a short walk away from the original José Tapas Bar, Pizarro is the second Bermondsey Street restaurant from acclaimed chef José Pizarro. Bigger in size but every bit as full of character, Pizarro offers a menu that blends small tapas-style plates with heartier dishes. Perfect for sharing or enjoying as starters and mains. Expect bold, seasonal Spanish flavours, alongside an extensive list of Spanish wines, sherries, and cocktails. And like its sister restaurant, Pizarro serves our Rocket espresso too, and they’re also dog-friendly!
*Save the date! If you’d like to fully experience the Bermondsey buzz, don’t miss the annual Bermondsey Street Festival on 20th September 2025.
