Our aim from day one has been to Make Coffee Better and this is exactly what we set out to do when we decided to create coffee pods.

Whilst we want to ensure our pods taste great, another priority for us is ensuring we do as much as we can to help our customers recycle them. This is why we’ve chosen to make them with recycled aluminium. We’ve also partnered with the clever people at Podback, who are the UK’s leading coffee pod recycling scheme. With their help, it makes it really easy to avoid our pods ending up in landfill, and even better, it’s free for you to get involved.
Don’t forget to add a free Podback recycling bag to your basket when ordering your Extract Coffee Pods. Once you’ve filled the Podback bag with your used pods, just use their Recycle Checker Tool to find where you can drop them off.
You may be wondering, what happens to your coffee pods when they arrive at Podback? Well, they start by shredding the pods to remove the coffee, then the empty pods are reprocessed so they can be used to manufacture new products. The remaining coffee grounds are then sent for anaerobic digestion, which is a process that creates renewable energy and soil improver.
