The Konga mill is situated in the renowned Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia at an astonishing 1800-2000 metres above sea level. Once picked by hand, the coffee is transferred from the individual farms to the local mill where the cherries are graded then placed onto raised drying beds and turned regularly to avoid over-fermentation.
It is the attention to detail at this stage that gives this coffee that vital balance. Big florals, strawberry, raisin and vanilla balanced by a sweet rounded cocoa finish ensures a lively espresso both in and out of milk.
