Introducing Cast Iron Espresso
In 2015 we decided to create a new coffee. A darker-roast espresso designed to be paired with milk and a homage to the restoration of our cast-iron 1950s roaster. Cast Iron Espresso was born.
We chose coffee from a rainforest alliance certified farm in Guatemala, Monte Rosa, part of the wider Nueva Granada Estate. The estate has planted some 30,000 new trees since becoming certified and is home to protected wildlife specied and waterways.
Social responsibility is also high up on the agenda, the estate provides education and healthcare to its residents and access
to clean drinking water to the local community.
