High up in the hills of Huila, Colombia, you will find a third generation coffee producer redefining classic Colombian flavours.
Founded in 2018, Cuatro Vientos is a family-owned business drawing on generations of family expertise. Yonatan and his team work directly with dedicated local smallholders to bring competition-level microlots to life.
This bright, complex coffee was grown at 1,400 meters above sea level by Jose Rodriguez, one of the brilliant farmers collaborating with Cuatro Vientos in the southern region of Acevedo. Huila is famous in the coffee world for its incredibly diverse and distinctive flavour profiles, thanks to its high altitudes and unique microclimates, and Jose’s farm is the perfect example of the region's absolute best.

While most coffees from this region are traditionally washed, this lot is a bespoke anaerobic natural, created as an exclusive. After being carefully handpicked at peak ripeness, the coffee cherries are floated to separate the best fruit and then fermented in sealed, oxygen-free tanks. This anaerobic environment allows the sugars in the fruit to break down slowly, creating a deeply intense and complex flavour profile before the beans are laid out to dry under the Colombian sun.

The result in the cup is pretty spectacular. With an impressive 87.8 cupping score, this coffee is wonderfully intense and boozy, yet balanced with a syrupy mouthfeel and a long finish.
Every sip of this vibrant filter coffee showcases the incredible skill of Jose Rodriguez. Get brewing and enjoy the summery sweet notes of Aperol, man darin and strawberry.
