Thinking about setting up a coffee subscription with us?
It’s really quite simple.
Here are some commonly asked questions to help you get started and make a decision that’s right for you so you never run out of coffee again!
You can either choose from our Hero range of coffees or Roaster’s Choice.
In short, our Hero Coffees will always be available. Reliable and accessible coffees which translate well to the brew methods most of us have at home including Cafetiere (French Press), Moka pot, Aeropress or Espresso machine.
Our Hero Coffees include Original, Organic, Cast Iron, Sugarcane, Dr Strangelove & Rocket (Half-Speed coming soon to subscriptions!).
If you’re a little more daring, perhaps the Roaster’s Choice is the way to go…
With Roaster’s Choice, you can choose from Espresso, Filter or Decaf. This is perfect if you’re looking to discover new coffees and receive something unexpected & exclusive. We send out a new coffee for you to try each month.
If you brew with a pour-over method (V60, Chemex, Clever Dripper) try the Roaster’s Choice Filter – these methods will bring out the best in these coffees.
We change up the coffee every month. So this means if you’ve set your subscription to come every 2 weeks, you’ll have that same coffee twice in a month.
This is really dependent on how many bags of coffee you want and how often. If you only want one 250g bag of per month, you’ll only be paying for that bag of coffee. Two bags a month? Double the price. But don’t worry, we obviously calculate all of that for you as you set up your sub!
The minute you place your first order. So you can expect your first coffee bag within 3-5 working days. We will then ship your subscription on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis from that date depending on what you’ve selected.
Don’t worry! We’re super flexible, so you can change or update your subscription whenever you like, and you can cancel at any time.
We have gift subscriptions for 3, 6 or 12 months. You can choose from our hero coffee or Roaster’s Choice (espresso, filter or decaf).
Do you know how the receiver brews their coffee? If they use a cafetiere, moka pot, Aeropress or espresso machine at home it’s safe to say that our Hero Coffees or Roaster’s Choice Espresso will taste delicious.
If they brew with a pour-over method like V60, Chemex or Clever dripper, Roaster’s Choice Filter is going to taste better.
Or if they love coffee, but not caffeine – go for our Decaf subscription! We hear good things about it 😉
We have four grind variations available. Here’s what they mean:
Espresso: Espresso machine, Moka pot or Aeropress
Filter: V60, Chemex or Clever dripper
Cafetiere: a.k.a French press
Wholebean: Fresh beans – but they’ll need a grinder at home
