Our commitment to ethical sourcing goes beyond the farm gate, to the people working on the farm.
The coffee supply chain is complex with lots of different parts, starting at the farm, coffee is led through washing stations, drying mills, exporters and importers before arriving at our roastery.
The best quality coffee is grown in places where living and working conditions can be hard. Growers are disproportionately impacted by the effects of climate change, extreme weather events and political instability.
So, taking a responsible and respectful approach to coffee sourcing is important. We choose the growers and importers we work with carefully.
Our partners are selected for the quality of the coffee they produce, for their dedication to environmental conservation, and for how they look after farm workers.
SOURCING OUR COFFEE
ROASTING SINCE 2007
Our coffee is roasted on vintage Probat coffee roasters. Each machine is unique and has been lovingly restored by the Extract team. We know these machines inside and out.
Every coffee is carefully profiled, tasted and tested by our industry-leading roastery team to ensure all our coffees are roasted perfectly.
Alongside our Hero Coffees, we also offer a seasonal range of Single-Origins. Rotating throughout the year, they showcase the incredible flavours from their regions. Our Single-Origins make for a perfect guest coffee to show off to your customers.

Education is truly at the heart of what we do and we love doing it.
The best way to get baristas making better coffee, is to make them fall in love with it. We fell in love with coffee long ago and are committed to sharing our passion and knowledge with as many people as possible.

SINGLE-ORIGIN COFFEE BAGS
Alongside our incredible range of coffee available at whole bean, we've also created low-impact, single-origin coffee bags for minimal hassle to be brewed up anywhere.
Perfect for in-room and meeting rooms, just dunk the compostable bag in hot water, brew for five minutes and enjoy. It couldn't be easier.
If you'd like to stock our coffee bags for your customers, they can be purchased in retail boxes. They make perfect stocking fillers.
MEET OUR SUPER HEROES
Unlike our Hero Coffees which are available all year-round, our Super Heroes are seasonal, available for a limited time only.
We've got three incredible Super Heroes; Betty, Funka and Inner Strength. All three of them are totally different espressos with their own distinct personalities
Betty, released every year in spring and supports incredible women in coffee.
Funka is our fun summer espresso, known for being a fruity, boozy, naturally processed coffee.
Inner Strength espresso is our winter Super Hero. A strong but sweet espresso, supporting our five Community Partners.
