Say hello to our fresh new look.
It all began in a chicken shed in Bristol. Hand-restoring vintage Probat roasters and serving up flat whites for our local community.
17 years later, the dream lives on.
We’re still roasting on our hand-restored Probats, Betty & Bertha. We're still dropping some of the best speciality coffee roasts in the UK.
Since day one, our desire has been to Make Coffee Better.
Better for growers.
Better for communities.
Better for planet.
And better for you.
Today we’ve reached an incredibly exciting moment in our journey, unveiling a fresh new look.
So what's changing?
The Extract Lock-up.
A bold new font. In keeping with our strong heritage as one of the UK’s best speciality coffee roasters, we decided to upweight the impact of our name on the packaging. The ultimate brand tool to drive customers searching out Extract Coffee Roasters, to your door.
Packaging Material
We've said goodbye to the kraft packaging that has served us so well over the years, and hello to a new generation of fully recyclable PPPE substrate (recyclable at Supermarkets, front of store).
Packaging Design
Drawing inspiration from our heritage, we’re championing traditional tattoo artistry and lithographic printing, creating a consistent style of illustration throughout the range.
What's staying the same?
Our iconic E.
Our heritage.
Our built-by-hand ethos.
Our people.
Our product.
Our purpose.
Our commitment to Make Coffee Better.
Where can I see it?
Our 250g bags will start to transition to the new packaging from November 1st, with the 1kg bags swapping over in December.
Whilst our look has evolved, nothing else has changed.
We’re still the same people. The same people that spent four years hand-restoring their first roaster. The same people that served up the first flat whites in Bristol.
With the same mission; to Make Coffee Better.
