Finca Santa Teresa Lot N39 Espresso is the first coffee we’re sharing with you after Head Roaster David’s recent trip to Panama. Finca Santa Teresa is one of the most beautiful and progressive farms we’ve had the privilege to work with. During David’s trip to Panama last month he worked on the farm’s cupping lab, and got well acquainted with the variety of exceptional coffees from this region. Finca Santa Teresa Lot N39 Espresso is comprised of naturally processed Caturra & Catuai varietals becomes a heady floral espresso with plenty of punch fruit flavour.
F.S.T is a small coffee farm located an hour’s drive from Panama’s second city of David. Virgin rainforest, rivers and streams form natural borders among the coffee trees and black volcanic soils, high altitudes and unique weather systems help produce some of the most sought after coffees in the world. The region is famed for its rich bio-diversity with La Amistad Park, a UNESCO World heritage site, on the farm’s doorstep and rainforest has dominated the land for over 25,000 years.
The farm is also committed to sustainable practices and ethical land husbandry. All coffee waste is recycled for fertilizer or as a fuel source for drying, and conversion to full solar power is underway.
