ARE YOU OUR NEW ECOMMERCE MANAGER?

Extract Coffee Roasters is looking for a dynamic, experienced eCommerce Manager to join our marketing team.

The ideal candidate will be a digital specialist coming from a strong eCommerce background with experience in working with fast-growing brands in B2B and B2C.

You’ll be responsible for creating an eCommerce strategy to support Extract Coffee Roasters’ business objectives and vision. You need to be an excellent communicator, able to work autonomously, lead projects and work in a team.

Extract Coffee Roasters is a national business so you can choose between Bristol and London as your primary base, travelling between our sites in Bristol, London and Manchester as required.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE

As eCommerce Manager you will oversee retail and wholesale sales via extractcoffee.co.uk. Day to day, you’ll be responsible for:

Growth: Developing an omnichannel eCommerce strategy to support wider business objectives by increasing AOV, order frequency and acquiring new customers.

Retention: Pursuing a strategy of customer excellence to grow loyalty from existing customers and subscriptions.

Infrastructure: Understanding and optimising our eCommerce tech stack to deliver a seamless experience for customers and colleagues.

Merchandising: Optimising the onsite experience to maximise sales. Managing the workflow of new products onto the website. Supporting the marketing team with insights and recommendations.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN OUR NEW ECOMMERCE MANAGER

5+ years experience in a senior digital or eCommerce role.

Experience using eCommerce software, ideally BigCommerce.

Content management, site structure & basic UX.

Using and integrating eCommerce software with third-party systems including ERP or CRM systems, shipping software and email software.

Basic skills in HTML.

Confident understanding of web analytics including tracking implementation and tag management.

Advanced email marketing skills. Including automation, campaigns, transactional, SPF & DKIM.

Confident using Meta Business Manager and Google Business suite.

Experience managing digital sales channels including, organic social media, SEO, affiliate marketing, loyalty & referral and customer POS.

Good understanding of best practices for data security, GDPR, web security and secure platform management.

Experience in building, executing and analysing customer surveys, audience research and analysis.

A good head for numbers. Able to deliver granular reports and analysis and present findings to stakeholders.

Content marketing and copywriting across a range of digital channels.
