Original Espresso
Hazelnut, caramel & cocoa
The classic iced latte is actually much easier than you think. When choosing a coffee go for something with plenty of sweetness in the flavour notes and some strong fruit flavours too.
Add milk to ice. Top with espresso.
If you’re looking for a longer, sweeter drink, try a caramel iced latte. This works great with coffees that have a nutty, chocolatey flavour profile, like Organic or Extract Original.
Add milk to ice. Mix espresso & a dash of syrup together then pour over the iced milk.
For a coffee based drink with light fruit notes, not too much sweetness and a hint of sparkle. This one is for you. Try a single origin espresso with vibrant fruit notes for an interesting and delicious drink.
Add the ice into a glass, add the tonic water until the glass is ¾ full. Lastly, add 1 shot of double espresso. Garnish with a wedge of grapefruit (or feel free to experiment and take inspiration from your coffee’s tasting notes)
Unsurprisingly, your choice of coffee will make a huge difference to the end result of your iced coffee drink. When choosing a coffee for an iced drink the first place to start is by looking at the flavour notes.
Opt for a coffee with plenty of sweetness in it's flavour notes - look for notes of sugar, toffee, and caramel and also strong fruit notes - think stone fruits, citrus and purple berries. The sweetness and acidity of these coffees will translate into a delicious iced drink.
Natural and Honey Process coffees are particularly good for iced drinks, thanks to their fruity flavours so these are a great place to start.
